On Friday 28th July, we donned our glad rags for the evening and threw open our London store doors to a bevy of guests for the evening. Why? To celebrate making the PTD ambition of opening up in London a reality. Guests included our good friends at Not On The High Street, our charity partners Women for Women International, and the gorgeous likes of Megan Gilbride, the gal behind the blog Wonderful You.
We'd been looking forward to the party for weeks, and couldn't wait to raise a toast to our forays into the wonedrful world of London town!
PTD Head of Retail, Chloe, makes sure the cocktails are good to go before our guests arrived.
Who knew that a jeweller's workbench made such a good drinks bar?
(We were all about the edible flowers...)
Bee and Chloe M, our resident jewellers for the night, make sure the food is looking delish before kick off. A big thank you to our awesome neighbours The Elk in the Woods for your help with the food on the night!
We made sure our jewellery hammers and tools were all good to go on the counter. Each of our guests was invited to pick a piece of jewellery for themselves as a gift, which we personalised then and there. Here's PTD MD Alice Rivers-Cripps limbering up behind the anvil!
PTD Brand Development Manager, Katie (L), and Wokshop Manager, Gabrielle (R), have never stuggled to get in the party mood! Gabby was inundated as the world's best drinks topper-upper too (our guests actually drank us dry - and we didn't skip on the cocktails and fizz!).
The party soon started spilling outside onto our little astroturf 'lawn'...
Our own Chloe chats to the wonderful Megs Gilbride, who popped along to find out more about what we do.
Jeweller Bee hard at the personalisation game!
Customer Service whizz, Jade, made sure nobody went hungry.
At one point, it was impossible to move in the shop, there were so many people crammed in!
A huge thank you to all our guests who made it along to the evening - we had such a fantastic time. Perhaps we'll make soirees more of a regular thing? They are a heck of a lot of fun...
Come and see what all the fuss is about for yourself at 41 Camden Passage, Islington, N1 8EA. We'd love to see you.
