The annual Brighton and Hove Business Awards (aka BAHBAS) celebrates the cities' greatest achievements and businesses alike.
A week on, our team are beaming with pride after receiving an incredible THREE awards on the evening!
Held in the All Saints Church, Hove, we made our BAHBA debut and joined 300 of Brighton and Hove's most talented. Much to our surprise, we walked away (or danced rather) with the Creative Business Award, The Fastest Growing Business Award and wait for it...The Judges Business of The Year Award.

What does winning the awards mean for Posh Totty Designs?
Just to be nominated for the awards meant such a lot to us, let alone winning anything. By the time they announced we'd won the Business of the Year award, I think I was in shock! Every award is a real honour, but of all the three awards we were shortlisted for, the Creative Industries is the award I am proudest of winning. I've always been inspired by Brighton, it's such an incredibly creative place, so to be singled out as a creative industry in this city really is special for me. I was also over the moon to win Business of the Year, it was totally unexpected and totally amazing, a real wow moment.
You were gobsmacked to win three awards, but what do you think it takes to win?
Passion for what you do, a lot of hard work, but most importantly a good product and a fantastic team.
Do you have any tips for starting a creative business today?
Put hard graft in, you'll need to work evenings, weekends, whatever it takes. It's not about the finance you get behind you, it's about your idea and the passion you have for it.

I'm incredibly proud to have been recognised by Brighton after 11 years of hard work. It's my favourite city and it's where Posh Totty Designs began and will remain. It was a great night for everyone, with a giant hangover the next day!
