Hello lovelies. As we welcome in the new year, we have a brand new feature for you called 'Sweet 16 - Pieces Of Me.' Week by week, we will profile someone from our wonderful team and ask them to share their 16 favourite pieces. This week it's all about Posh Totty Designs' Founder, Alice Rivers-Cripps....

1. Makeup bag by Darling Clementine “ We teamed up with these guys in 2014 to head up our re-brand. They're based in Norway and I love the simplicity of their style; but it's also fun, like the design on this bag. We spent a weekend in with them in Oslo in a log cabin sailing and swimming (in freezing water). It was one of the best weekends ever.

2. Watch by Daniel Wellington “ I treated myself to this on my last birthday. I'd had my eye on it for ages!

3. Tanya Burr nail polish in Pick'n'Mix “ Last year, my team arranged for me to have my colours done as a gift and this pink came out as one of them. I can't get enough of this nail polish by the awesome blogger Tanya Burr. Her beauty advice is spot on.

4. Catbird matches- I am not a smoker but I really love this shop in NY and they gave me these rather than a business card, so I keep them to use for my PTD aromatherapy candles. I was over in New York in November and I had such a fantastic time. A fun break away without the kids. It is important to try and get breaks away, time for yourself and your relationships.

5. Signet Ring “ All of the women in my family have one, passed down through the generations. We've always been a family of matriarchs; I was brought up by my Mum who's incredibly strong and determined. She's still a massive part of my life “ and even works here at PTD.

6. Eiffel Tower music box “ Paris is my favourite place “ and me and my husband's romantic go-to. We try to go once a year at least.

7. Posh Totty Spinning Necklace “ This is one of my favourite PTD designs, and I love wearing it teamed up with other charms that I've collected over the years. The disc I wear has my two sons' names on it.

8. Alexa De Castilho charms - Worn on the same necklace, are several charms by this amazingly talented jewellery designer and friend.

9. Wild Fig & Cassis perfume by Jo Malone “ I treated myself to this after experiencing home-grown figs for the first time in Mallorca. I love the taste and smell of fresh figs, and this scent is a reminder of an amazing family holiday.

10. Posh Totty Designs branding - I love seeing our branding in gold foil and not least on our own jewellery boxes.

11. Posh Totty Notebook “ We launched this notebook in the autumn and it's been a huge hit. I love it because I'm always scribbling down notes, ideas and sketches for new designs. ˜All About Me' is a phrase I've used jokingly for years.

12. Mini projector “ I bought this in America. It's got tiny little photos of my kids and family in it, and I carry it everywhere.

13. Lego character “ My boys love Lego, and this one makes me laugh; my eldest son is a huge fan of Elvis and thinks it looks like him. I think it looks more like one of the Village People!

14. PTD Message Bangles “ This was one of my first designs and I used to wear them all the way up my arm. Now I only wear a few, but the messages on them are so close to my heart. They're one of my favourite designs, and are hugely popular with our customers. We see some of the most beautiful words and phrases on the pieces we make. There's a whole lot of love out there, that's for sure.

15. Books “ I absolutely love Hunter S. Thompson's ˜The Rum Diary' which takes me back to my days travelling through Mexico: it was all hammocks and rum.

16. Gypsy Boy was written by a close friend of mine, Mikey Walsh, who I met when I was 18 in Manchester. At that time, he'd run away from his gypsy family and couldn't read or write. I'm mentioned in the book “ Lisa, a buxom blonde barmaid! Mikey's so inspiring, and this book is one of the best reads ever.
