Here at Posh Totty Designs, we're lucky enough to take in your amazing personalisations before they're immortalised in one of our personalised gifts and whilst all are lovely, some clearly leave an impression. Perhaps a lovely sentiment on a Personalised Diamond Marry Me ring struck a chord or something downright fun and quirky as often seen in our '10 Things' boxes tickled us. So, we thought it would be a nice idea to share some of the meanings behind some of these personalisations and dig a little deeper behind the scenes.
This is the story behind one of our Personalised Square Tag Necklaces, personalised with 'F*** IT' (but with actual F word). We got in touch with customer Ellie, who was happy to sum up in her own words: "So this necklace is for the most wonderful woman who is an acting coach in LA. I met her in London last year when she came over to teach and have just finished working with her again. She is one of the funniest, kindest, inspiring women I have ever met, I want all my acting and non-acting friends to take class with her!.. Look her up- Leigh Kilton-Smith!!!" "Anyway, I wanted to thank her with a special gift that was both personal and would fit her suitcase. I knew Posh Totty would have something perfect. I chose a necklace big enough to personalise with one of her famous lines, so many to choose from!! After much deliberation I decided to go on one of her philosophies about acting and sometimes life in general. "F*CK IT".. when life gets too much, your mind goes into overdrive, the "sh*tty committee" (that voice in your head that says lots of mean things) just won't go away, saying "F*CK IT" to them all leaves you free to do your best work and love who you are it's not about not caring, it's about being kind to yourself." I gave it to her on the last day of class and she LOVED it! So thank you Posh Totty Designs, i'll be back . ellie x
