Capture a moment in time with our Fingerprint Charm Kit, a beautiful personalised gift that allows you to create a solid silver charm using your own fingerprint. This unique keepsake is perfect for birthdays, Mother’s Day, anniversaries or anyone who loves meaningful and personal jewellery.

Using the precious Silver clay provided, you can easily press your fingerprint into the clay at home and return it to our jewellers for firing and finishing. The result is a stunning handcrafted fingerprint charm on a necklace chain that is completely unique to you.

We can even handset your chosen birthstone into the charm after our jewellers have finished firing and polishing your design.

Important: Use the Silver Clay Immediately

For the clearest and most detailed fingerprint impression, the silver clay must be used as soon as delivered.
Silver clay dries very quickly when exposed to air and can become stiff, crumbly or lose detail if handled for too long.

Please keep the following in mind:-
• Keep the clay sealed until the exact moment you are ready to take the print
• Take the fingerprint immediately after opening
• Avoid reworking the clay too many times
• If needed, add only a very small drop of water to soften it slightly

We cannot accept returns once the clay has been opened and used.

Can this kit be used for babies or pets

Baby fingerprints
Very young babies often have soft and delicate prints that may not appear clearly in the clay. Fingerprints usually begin to show more detail from around six to nine months and become clearer between one and two years old. If you cannot see the print in the clay, it will not appear in the final charm. You can test a print with an ink pad and paper first if you are unsure.

Pets
You can use the clay to take a pet nose or paw impression, although the result may be subtle due to the natural texture of the clay.

How to capture your fingerprint

1. Open the silver clay packet only when you are ready to take the print.
2. Place the Silver clay on the greaseproof paper.
3. Wash and dry the finger you wish to use.
4. Press firmly into the Silver clay to make your fingerprint impression.
5. Allow the Silver clay to dry completely for 48 hours before returning it to us.

What you see in the clay is exactly how it will appear once fired, so make sure your print is clear. If it is not, please take another impression before the clay begins to dry.

How to return your impression

1. Attach the pre-paid label to the return bag.
2. Complete the order form. You are welcome to add notes on the back if needed.
   Please note that we cannot add hand stamped text to the back of the charm due to its delicate nature.
3. Nestle the fully dried clay impression into the shredded tissue inside the navy box.
4. Place the box and order form inside the returns envelope and post it back to us.

Your final solid silver charm

Once your impression arrives at our workshop, our jewellers will carefully fire, polish and finish your charm and add an 18 inch chain. You can choose optional plating upgrades or a birthstone setting to make it even more special.

Your personalised fingerprint charm will be returned to you within two to four weeks of arriving at our studio.
